The Migratory Bird Treaty Act was signed in 1918 and has served as the basis for much of the protection of our wild birds for 100 years. Avid birder and UNH Professor of History Kurk Dorsey will present an illustrated talk about the surprising story of how the federal government found itself in the business of protecting migratory wildlife.
