Insects make up an extraordinary percentage of Earth’s biodiversity, and they interact with other species (including us) in myriad ways. Join ecologist Kerry Yurewicz for an introduction to their wild, wonderful world. We will discuss the roles insects play in the web of life, scientific evidence related to recent news stories about an ‘insect apocalypse,’ and ways that we can all help conserve these fascinating and important animals.

This program will take place at the Nature Center located at 131 Quincy Bog Road in Rumney.
