On the upper half of the property forest growth (primarily conifers) is allowed to proceed naturally; the lower forest of mixed hardwood and white pine is managed to promote forest diversity and enhance wildlife habitat. There are two loop trails: a lower, moderately strenuous hike and a steeper, more rugged upper hiking trail.
